Maybe that’s the most ‘normal’ track. Well...it would be normal if it wasn’t for all the live sound manipulation and stuttering I did with the poor cowbell sample :-). Again, here we have two kinds of atmosphere, this time at the same time from the beginning till the end!
On one hand we have this simple Jarresque instrumental kinda 80’s synthpop song. On top of that there’s the above mentioned cowbell sound torture. It’s like having two soloists at the same time: the ‘keyboardist’ (me) improvising a simple melody over a simple bassline (that modulates by the end of the track only) and an ‘effects manipulator’ (yes...that’s also me) ‘playing’ the manipulation of the cowbell creating a kind of a strange solo-rhtyhmic-deconstructed-antisoundscape…
Poetical tags: cosmology, ancient rituals of the tribe, technology, ancient wisdom, space race, science, chance and controlled fate (you know, the live sound manipulation…)...
